The Ashland Senior Center has a Telesensory Magnifier available on-site. The Magnifier is a closed circuit device that is designed for use by people who have visual impairments, including "legal blindness," which make it difficult or impossible to read ordinary printed materials. It can magnify text size up to 50X, and displays printed materials in color, or high-contrast black text on a white background, or white text on a black background. The white text on black or negative image is ideal for glare reduction. The Magnifier was generously donated to the Senior Program by the Ashland Lions Club and it is offered for use here at the Center, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
