Actors'/Writers' Creative Workshop
This workshop is designed for writers and actors who wish to share
their work with an audience. The goal is to develop dramatic work
based on real life challenges, perspectives and learning. Participants
will work toward creating a theater piece made up of individual
pieces written in the group relating to the topic of aging and
creativity. This 11-week course is facilitated by Lyda Woods from the
American Conservatory Theater. Enrollment is limited. Please call

Gentle Yoga for Older Adults
This class is designed for seniors and people who have physical problems or limitations. Class members will be asked to get up and down from the floor once during the class. The class will be taught with the Iyengar-style alignments and sequencing, with a strong emphasis on releasing unnecessary tension.

Tai Chi for Older Adults
Tai Chi is a moving meditation that also strengths bones and muscles, improves balance, and increases flexibility. In this class we use various forms of Tai Chi to create a flowing routine that can be done anywhere. We have recently added Qi Gong, the movement of energy through the body. The class is on-going and teaching is continuous so you may join us at any time. Your first class is as our guest.

Do you need a little extra help with your computer skills? Individualized instruction is available to help you learn how to set up an email, surf the web, create a brochure or documents, try Adobe Photoshop, or just learn computer basics. Please call 541.48.5342 to make an appointment.
